| FBI offers reward for Baby Grace's name
GALVESTON � The Federal Bureau of Investigation has put up a $20,000 reward for anyone who knows the name of Baby Grace, an unidentified girl whose body was found last month.
The offer is unusual since most rewards are given for information predicated on convictions, FBI spokesperson Shauna Dunlap said, and is a demonstration of the bureau�s determination to help find the 2- or 3-year old girl�s killer.
�A lot of times rewards are stipulated on information leading to a conviction for a crime,� Dunlap said. �That is what makes this reward unique. We are only asking for the identity of this little girl.�
FBI agents are helping Galveston County law enforcement work leads generated by tips given to investigators. The case garnered international attention when the girl�s body was discovered by a fisherman in West Galveston Bay, within 10 miles of the Brazoria County line.
